What’s New for Spring Quarter?

While you were all busy resting up between quarters, the Library found a few, COOL new resources for you. Check out our new Online Book Collection and some dazzling new Art and Image collections.

Hate carrying around lots of heavy books? Looking for something to read but the Library is already closed? Check out our new Fully Electronic, Online book collection called Ebrary. With over 19,000 electronic books that span all the LWTC disciplines, it is a great resource for accessing books anytime, anyplace.

Oxford Art Online is a centralized resource for everything you ever wanted to know about any artist or art movement in history. With over 21,000 biographies, 23,000 subjects, and well over 5,000 images, this database has everything for those Applied Design students or anyone interested in art, design, and visual culture.

Have you ever wondered where those intriguing and eye catching images from newspapers can be found? Well, look no further! Associated Press Images (AP Images) is one of the largest collections of historical, news, and contemporary images and includes local, national, and international images and photographs. Dress up your papers and assignments with these stunning images.
