Connect @ The Learning Commons

You may have noticed the Librarians sitting behind the circular Reference Desk on the third floor of the Learning Commons. They have not been dispatched there to spy on you and report back to your instructor that you’ve really been reading comic books instead of researching peer-reviewed articles for that five-page paper due next week.

Cheyenne Roduin and Heather Davis are your Librarians and are here to answer all of your questions from “Where’s the bathroom?” to “How do I find articles on the link between intelligence and mental disorders?”

If you need help using a tool or an electronic resource, can’t figure out how to double space in Word 2007, or if you are looking for books on electrical engineering please come find us. Remember there are no stupid questions and the Librarians are always here to help you.

Unless they are in a meeting, a Librarian will be stationed at the Reference Desk between 10AM and 2PM Monday through Friday and if you need additional help please ask to speak to a Librarian at the Circulation Desk on the second floor of the Learning Commons. They are also available through Meebo on the Need Help? Ask the Librarian page on the Learning Commons website where you can ask a question remotely and receive assistance online.

As the quarter moves forward keep in mind that the Librarians are an invaluable resource and are here to help you in any way they can.
